From an early age, Scott Bertram was drawn to the artistic process and in 1997, graduated from Siena Heights University with a Bachelor's degree in Art. He is also a Michigan classroom certified teacher for grades K-12. He was a k-12 art teacher for 7 years and has also been an instructor at Jackson Community College in Jackson, Michigan.

As an art teacher, Scott covered a variety of subjects, including Photography, Computer Animation, and Traditional Fine Art. At the college level he has taught a variety of computer graphic courses, as well as photography. Scott is currently completing his MFA in Animation with an expected graduation date of April 2012.
