Digital Restoration of an Existing Photograph

Time has a way of slowly eroding the image quality of most photographs, unless specially treated or sealed away from the outside world in a vacuum. Any number of factors can damage photos, and when this happens, great pictures with historical and sentimental value can be lost forever. Through recent advances in digital technology, this no longer has to be true.

In most cases, an image can be salvaged through our digital restoration process. Your photograph can be digitized through the use of a high-resolution scanner, and then restored to its original integrity. We can optimize contrast, control gamma curves, color correct, and eliminate dust spots, tears, dirt and normal wear and tear to a microscopic level. In many cases, we can even repair damaged portions of an image.

Once your photograph has been restored to its original quality, it will be reprinted in your choice of size(s) through a professional color photo lab.

Photographs must be inspected before a final quote can be provided. Feel free to bring your photographs to the studio for an estimate, or you can mail them to us at the address provided on the front page of the site. Please choose your packaging carefully so your photographs are not damaged in the shipping process (there is a $5.00 fee for return shipping and handling). Your photographs will be returns to you promptly.
