Your wedding day comes once in a lifetime, and it is an event so significant that most people hire a professional photographer to capture the experience so that it can be relived time and again with family and friends. If you are considering hiring a photographer to document your wedding day, please consider the following reasons for choosing our studio:

The Personal Touch
Scott Bertram personally shoots all weddings and major events. It is his goal to record the day's events in a journalistic nature, unobtrusively capturing the excitement, the wonder, the magic...and yes, occasionally the chaos of the day. Your wedding day belongs to you, and he will not attempt to micro-manage your wedding schedule, but rather provide intuitive, natural and thoughtful coverage of this joyous event.

Image Quality
While film is still available at your request, we shoot high quality digital photos with carefully selected equipment to fit your needs. The digital medium also allows a flexibility that just isn't available with film. All of your photos will be available in color or black and white (with options for sepia or toned prints) and photos taken are available for review immediately.

Optional Video
In addition to our photography services, we can also create a video record of your wedding day in the form of a professionally edited DVD, crafted with the same attention to detail as your wedding photos.

Value
Many photographers maintain the copyrights to their wedding photos and charge for additional prints for years to come. With Scott Bertram Photography, you own all of the original digital prints from your wedding and all of the copyrights. This means that you do not have to pay mark-ups for custom printing and you can make as many prints as you like, any time you wish. Our packages include:

Your 4x6 proofs will be ready for delivery within 30 days of your wedding or event. The proofs are numbered in sequence for your convenience and delivered in a presentation album, along with the original digital photos on compact disc. Enlargements and folio photos will be ready within approximately 10 working days of being notified of your choices for these prints. We recommend that you do not give away your original proofs from the album. You own the digital proofs on CD and you can make copies of your photos at any time.

Service
We will be there, prepared to shoot at the time and date that we agree upon. This event comes once in a lifetime, and it is an honor and privilege to serve you on this momentous day. In order to serve you better, we do ask that you provide us will all pertinent information to perform our services.

• Names, addresses, and phone numbers of all principals in the wedding.
  
• The date and time of both the wedding and reception as well as the time you would like us to arrive.
  
• The names, address, and phone numbers of the wedding and reception locations.
  
• The phone numbers where the bride and groom can be reached on the wedding day.
  
• The rules for photographers from your church or wedding location.
  
• We request that you provide two lists of formal photos that you wish to have taken at the wedding site. Each family should make a list of people you wish to include in the formal photos and give this list to someone who knows these people. These liaison people can highly facilitate the process of getting all the right people in the right place at the right time. It is extremely awkward for a photographer to be calling out through the church, looking for family members whom he does not know.

Payment Policy

• A $100 deposit is required to reserve your wedding date. We book on a first come, first served basis.
  
• We do not double-book and we will not reserve a date without a deposit.
  
• All deposits are non-refundable
  
• Full payment is due on the day of the wedding.
  
• Dinner will be provided for the photographer, and an assistant.
  
• We use on camera flash, however, we can provide on-site studio lighting at your request. There is a negotiable fee for this service.
  
• Time and material rates are available for smaller weddings. This rate is $150.00/hr and $50.00 for every 50 photos. This price includes a CD with all of the original digital photos and 4x6 proofs of all photos, but it does not include a presentation album.
  
• Overtime rates are $150.00/hr for anything over 8 hours of coverage, including travel time.
